⚖️ How to choose scales
- Capacity and accuracy. 6/15 kg in 1/2 g steps is the working standard for a grocery counter. Fruit, grains and sweets are weighed to within 2 g.
- Keyboard and PLUs. A membrane, splash-proof keyboard comes with the SW II and PR-15B. If you carry many items, take the PR-15P: a 65-key extended keyboard and up to 4,000 PLUs. The ER JR CB-LT also stores PLUs.
- Customer display. Fitted on the ER JR CB-LT, ER JR CBU and PR-15P — the customer sees weight and price, which cuts down questions at the counter.
- Connecting to the till. Every model has RS-232. The PR-15P adds Ethernet and USB, so it works on the network and sends weight straight to the POS.
- Power. The SW II and PR-15B run from mains or a battery — you can take them to a market stall or outdoor stand.

Which scales suit a neighbourhood shop?
The CAS SW II at UAH 7,000 is the simplest and cheapest option: 6/15 kg, 1/2 g, tare, mains or battery power. If you need a customer display, take the ER JR CB-LT at 12,000.
Do these scales print labels?
The models here are trade scales for weighing and passing weight to the till; no built-in label printer is listed. The ER JR CBU and PR-15P are explicitly described as non-printing. If you need labels, contact us and we will suggest a suitable model.
What is the weighing accuracy?
All five models offer 6/15 kg capacity with 1/2 g resolution — 2 g steps for small portions, finer 1 g steps in the lower range.
Can the scales connect to my till?
Yes, every model has RS-232. The PR-15P adds Ethernet and USB for network operation. Scales pass weight to the POS and work with Checkbox PRRO.
