A POS terminal is the cashier's workstation: screen, computer and ports for the receipt printer, scanner and scales in a single chassis. 🖥 How to choose a POS terminal

• Screen size and resolution. 15.6" (1366×768) covers most cafes and shops. Full HD 1920×1080 makes sense when the till runs all day with many small buttons on screen. 21.5" is for complex accounting software and large sales floors.
• CPU and memory. Intel N5095 and N97 handle a till, stock and CRM without lag. For heavier software choose the i3-1115G4 or i5-1135G7 versions. 16 GB DDR4 is plenty; the Anypos 660 can be expanded to 32 GB.
• Customer display. The extra 11.6" screen shows line items and the total — fewer arguments at the till. Four models in the line-up come with one.
• Ports. USB for the printer and scanner, RS-232 for scales and the fiscal registrar, Ethernet for the network. The Anypos 660 adds 5×USB, 2×RS-232, Type-C and HDMI.

Wintec terminals start at UAH 35,000. NPOS50 — 35,000, NPOS60 — 37,000, the same models with an 11.6" customer display — 40,000 and 43,000. Anypos 660 — 46,000, with a customer display — 52,000. Anypos 500 in 15" — 52,000, in 21.5" — 68,000. A 12-month warranty and service are included.
